Percussion Gouge Bottom Part - 1 m
Percussion gouge are ideal for soils containing rubble and/or stones and are therefore extremely suitable for urban and industrial areas. The bottom part of the percussion gouge is fitted with an RD32 connection and a hardened cutting head.
- Different variants with a length of 1 metre
- For harder soils
- With hardened cutting head
- Practically undisturbed samples
Royal Eijkelkamp's percussion gouge augers can carry out soil sampling in harder soils or in top layers containing rubble or stones, for example in urban areas. With percussion drilling the gouge is driven into the ground with a percussion hammer. The lower part of this percussion gouge is fitted with a hardened cutting head. Samples that have been gouged with a percussion gouge suffer little damage. The lower part of the percussion gouge has a length of 1 metre and has an RD32 connection. With this connection the percussion gouges and extension rods are screwed together using a coupling sleeve. The RD32-connection is used in firmer, drier soils.
