This EC Meter Set for Soil is a portable, user-friendly instrument for measuring electrical conductivity (EC) in the field. The onboarding guide in setup and calibration mode ensures simple and intuitive use. EC indicates the amount of salts dissolved in water, which can both limit or promote plant growth, or indicate soil pollution — so measuring EC is essential.

The meter offers automatic conductivity calibration at up to five points, plus one user-defined point. Reference temperature and a selectable cell constant are easy to configure. The device also includes a stability indicator with three selectable levels.

All operations and errors are continuously monitored and displayed to the operator via the coloured LED above the display. It includes a VPT Soil conductivity cell with a built-in temperature sensor (cell constant C=1), and a fixed 1.5-metre cable with BNC and Cinch connectors. Field range is 10 µS to 50 mS.
