Online Shop

The Eijkelkamp Fraste UK online shop stocks the soil and water sampling equipment our customers reorder most often — hand augers, monitoring well components, water level meters, sampling rings, tubing and consumables. Everything listed here is genuine Eijkelkamp equipment supplied direct from our UK operation, so you can restock a site kit or replace a worn part without waiting on a quote.

What you can buy online

The shop is organised around the jobs our customers actually do — boring a hole, installing and maintaining a monitoring well, taking a sample and reading a level. Each section below holds the equipment and the consumables that go with it.

  • Soil Augers — the full hand auger range, including Edelman augers matched to clay, sand and coarse sand, gouge augers, riverside and stony-soil heads, plus handles, extension rods, accessories and complete sets.
  • Soil Sampling — sample rings and ring holders, stainless steel sample tubes, split tube samplers, coring apparatus, hammering heads, the Munsell-style soil colour book, sand ruler, pocket penetrometer and pocket vane tester.
  • Monitoring Wells — HDPE plain and filter pipe with screw thread connections, pre-packed filter pipe, bentonite plugs and collars, sand catchers, top and bottom caps, protective casing, lockable well covers and liquid tight floor covers.
  • Water Level Meters — frame-mounted and handheld water level meters, the compact Mini meter with start/stop system, and a 30 m interface meter for detecting product on water.
  • Water Sampling — submersible pumps for purging and sampling, including the Gigant and a low cost pump set.
  • Soil Moisture — Rhizon soil moisture samplers and sampling sets for extracting pore water with minimal disturbance, plus replacement syringes.
  • Diver Accessories — the hardware that keeps a Diver logger safely suspended and retrievable: wire hangers, stainless steel wire clamps, steel cable, HMPE rope and copper shields.
  • Sludge Sampling — the Van Veen grab for recovering bed sediment from open water.
  • Tubing — PE and silicone tube and ball valves for sampling lines and pump connections.
  • Tooling — Carbotec bits and core lifters for drilling work.

Restocking a site kit

Most of what sells here is a replacement rather than a first purchase. Auger blades dull, rods bend, sample rings get damaged, filter gauze clogs and tubing perishes. Rather than replacing a whole set, it is usually cheaper and faster to order the individual component — which is why heads, handles, rods and accessories are listed separately rather than only as kits.

If you are building a kit from scratch, start with the auger head matched to your dominant soil type, add a handle and enough extension rods for your target depth, then add the accessories that make the day easier: a coupling sleeve, an impact-absorbing hammer, a spatula and a carrying bag. The pre-matched hand auger sets do this for you if you would rather not specify it item by item.

Who buys from us

Ground investigation and geotechnical consultants, contaminated land specialists, environmental and ecological monitoring teams, agronomists and soil surveyors, water companies and drainage engineers, peatland and habitat restoration projects, universities and research groups, and archaeologists doing test pitting and deposit modelling. The common thread is needing reliable equipment quickly, from people who understand what it is for.

Beyond the shop

The online shop covers hand-operated and consumable equipment. For larger capital equipment we work by specification and quotation — see Drilling Rigs for conventional rotary, conventional foundation, sonic, CPT, mineral exploration and window sampling rigs, and Soil and Water for the wider instrumentation range including data loggers, read-out units, groundwater pumps and sensors. We also offer equipment rental and a UK-based service and support department.

Online shop FAQs

The online shop covers the equipment and consumables that get ordered repeatedly: hand and gouge augers and their accessories, monitoring well pipe and fittings, water level and interface meters, soil sampling rings and coring apparatus, soil moisture samplers, tubing, pumps and Diver accessories. Larger equipment such as drilling rigs and CPT systems is specified and quoted rather than sold online.
Yes. Eijkelkamp Fraste UK is the UK joint venture between Royal Eijkelkamp and Fraste, so everything in the shop is original manufacturer equipment rather than a pattern part. That matters most on threads, couplings and sampling rings, where a copied component often will not mate correctly with kit you already own.
Yes. The shop is a subset of the full Eijkelkamp catalogue. If you need an item, a size or a spare part you cannot find, get in touch with the part number or a description of the job and we will source it and quote.
In most cases yes, but connection type and diameter matter. Auger heads, rods and handles use specific coupling systems, and well pipe is sized by diameter and thread. If you tell us what you are running, we will confirm compatibility before you order.
We would rather specify it properly than have you return it. Tell us the ground conditions, the depth you need to reach and what you are sampling for, and we will put together a list that works. That advice is part of the service, not a paid extra.

Ordering and support

Everything in the shop is genuine Eijkelkamp equipment supplied direct from our UK operation. If you are not certain which item suits your ground conditions or your existing kit, get in touch before you order and we will confirm the specification for you.
