FS 500 T
The Fraste FS 500 T utilises a CAT Sage V diesel engine (380-765Hp) or a CAT/FPT Stage IIIA engine (349-700Hp) mounted to the back of a truck which provides PTO from the trucks engine, with a width of 2540mm and a height of 14300mm. The rig is equipped with the Fraste all-hydraulic drill pipe loading system and allows for a range of drilling methods, such as direct or reverse fluid circulation, air drilling with DTH (down the hole) hammer and dry auger drilling.
The Fraste FS 500 T’s CAT Stage V engine (380-765Hp) was manufactured to strictly follow Environmental Protective Agency guidelines, having a Tier 4 Final engine, with EU machinery and safety regulations with a Stage V engine, producing low particulate matter (Pm) and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions. The CAT/FPT Stage IIIA engine (349-700Hp) has a Stage IIIA and Tier 3 rating, making it less suitable for urban areas due to higher levels of emissions.
The modular capabilities of the FS 500 T include the option for an on-board generator-welding unit, pump options and winch options, ensuring all your specific drilling requirements are met.
The applications of the Fraste FS 500 T are water wells, surface soil and mineral exploration, geothermal drilling, seismic and coring.
