MX 400
The Fraste MX 400 utilises either a CAT C18A Stage V 755Hp or a CAT C9 Stage IIIA 355Hp diesel engine, with a width of 2500mm and a body length of 8000mm. The mast supports drilling between 45° and vertical and can be fitted with the Fraste automatic rod handler ‘manipulator’ with the additional option of the side shifting extensions, as well as the automatic core barrel handler. This rig is capable of handling drill rods of up to 6m.
The Fraste MX 400’s CAT C18A Stage V 755Hp diesel engine was manufactured to strictly follow Environmental Protective Agency guidelines, having a Tier 4 Final engine, with EU machinery and safety regulations with a Stage V engine, producing low particulate matter (Pm) and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions. The CAT C9 Stage IIIA 355Hp has a Stage IIIA and Tier 3 rating, making it less suitable for urban areas due to higher levels of emissions.
The modularity of the Fraste MX 400 includes winch options, pump options, a reverse circulation kit, a cyclone collector and rod gravity slips, to ensure all your drilling requirements are met.
The applications of the Fraste MX 400 consist of mineral exploration, including diamond coring, angle drilling, Reverse Circulation drilling and air core drilling.
