The holder is used in the Soil Sampling Ring kit – model C53 to hold different size rings for undisturbed soil samples for lab testing.

Various options are available, including:

  • Ø 53 x 50 mm [Heavy Design]
  • Ø 53 x 50 mm
  • Ø 60 x 56 mm

The closed ring holder has a tapered-thread connection that can be used to attach the top part including the hammering head and the extension rods. After assembly, when the sample ring is fitted in the closed ring holder and the top part is connected, a sample can be taken. If required, the Edelman and Riverside augers can be used in advance to make auger holes.
