The Edelman auger clay-type is specially designed for use in cohesive soils. The characteristic design of the Edelman auger allows for minimum friction during both penetration into the soil and extraction from the soil. This leads to little resistance, less physical effort and a hardly disturbed sample.
The Edelman Auger for Clay is available as a one-piece or as a bottom part with various diameters and connections.
Handles and Extension Rods are also available for purchase to be used in combination with our Bottom Part Augers.
