Edelman Auger for Coarse Sand

The Edelman Auger for Coarse Sand is specially designed for use in non- cohesive soils. The blades of this auger are extended with added “wings”, forming an almost closed auger body to keep the sample from slipping out. This makes this auger shape very suitable for loose soils, such as coarse sand or very dry sandy soils.

The Edelman Auger for Coarse Sand is available as a One-Piece or as a Bottom Part with various diameters and connections.

Handles and Extension Rods are also available for purchase to be used in combination with our Bottom Part Augers.
