FP 30
The Fraste FP 30 utilises a CAT C7.1 diesel engine (255Hp) with a weight of 35 tonnes. The rig has a maximum width of 3750mm, a maximum length of 14045mm and a maximum height of 24500mm. This rig has a high torque rotary head and Kelly bar, allowing for drilling in difficult soils, with the rotary long stroke being one of the longest on the market. The rig also has a segmental mast allowing fast conversion to different applications. The rig is equipped with electronic system with 15.6-inch display for monitoring the drilling parameters, engine functions and alarms. It is also provided with a second display for a camera screen and other functions.
The Fraste FP 30’s CAT C7.1 Stage V engine (275Hp) was manufactured to strictly follow Environmental Protective Agency guidelines, having a Tier 4 Final engine, with EU machinery and safety regulations with a Stage V engine, producing low particulate matter (Pm) and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions.
The uses of the Fraste FP 30 include cased boreholes, uncased boreholes, boreholes with hollow stem augers (CFA – continuous flight auger system) with or without extensions and specialised drilling technologies such as displacement piles (FDP – full displacement piling) and low headroom.
