Fraste Multidrill XL 140 T
The Fraste Multidrill XL 140 T utilises a CAT C4.4 diesel engine (148Hp or 142Hp) mounted to the back of a truck, with a width of 2490mm, and a maximum height of 8400mm. This rig has all the features of a crawler XL 140, but on the back of a compact 4×4 truck. This rig also allows for soil investigation with direct/reverse fluid circulation or with down the hole (DTH) hammer.
The Fraste Multidrill XL 140 T’s CAT C4.4 engine (148Hp) was manufactured to strictly follow Environmental Protective Agency guidelines, having a Tier 4 Final engine, with EU machinery and safety regulations with a Stage V engine, producing low particulate matter (Pm) and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions. The CAT C4.4 engine (142Hp) has a Stage IIIA and Tier 3 rating, making it less suitable for urban areas due to higher levels of emissions.
The modularity of the Fraste Multidrill XL 140 T ranges from winch changes, pump changes and hydraulics, including hydraulic air valve and a hydraulic SPT (standard penetration test) device.
The Fraste Multidrill XL 140 T is used for geotechnical investigations, including continuous core drilling and geothermal drilling.
