FS 400
The Fraste FS 400 utilises a CAT Sage V diesel engine (380-765Hp) or a CAT/FPT Stage IIIA engine (349-765Hp), with a width of 2490mm and a height of 12000mm. The rig is equipped with the Fraste all-hydraulic drill pipe loading system and allows for a range of drilling methods, such as direct or reverse fluid circulation, air drilling with DTH (down the hole) hammer and dry auger drilling.
The Fraste FS 400’s CAT Stage V engine (380-765Hp) was manufactured to strictly follow Environmental Protective Agency guidelines, having a Tier 4 Final engine, with EU machinery and safety regulations with a Stage V engine, producing low particulate matter (Pm) and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions. The CAT/FPT Stage IIIA engine (349-765Hp) has a Stage IIIA and Tier 3 rating, making it less suitable for urban areas due to higher levels of emissions.
The modular capabilities of the FS 400 include the option for an on-board generator-welding unit, pump options and winch options, ensuring all your specific drilling requirements are met.
The applications of the Fraste FS 400 are water wells, surface soil and mineral exploration, geothermal drilling, seismic and coring.
