MITO 8C
The MITO 8C utilises either a CAT C3.6 (120.6Hp) or a KUBOTA V3800 (100Hp) diesel engine with a weight of 8.1 tonnes. The maximum width of the rig is 2300mm, the length of the rig is 6120mm and the height of the rig is a maximum of 6500mm.
The Fraste MITO 8C’s CAT C3.6 engine (120.6Hp) was manufactured to strictly follow Environmental Protective Agency guidelines, having a Tier 4 Final engine, with EU machinery and safety regulations with a Stage V engine, producing low particulate matter (Pm) and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions. The KUBOTA engine (100Hp), however, has a Stage IIIA and Tier 3 rating, making it less suitable for urban areas due to higher levels of emissions.
Modularity of the MITO 8C is key as there are optional pump and hydraulic changes that can be made to ensure your specific drilling requirements are met.
The applications of the MITO 8C include micro piles, ground consolidation and diamond core rotary drilling.
