Soil Colour Book

The Soil Colour Book is used for the classification of soil subgroups relying in part on differences in colour.

Soil colour is assessed by comparing a sample to standard soil colour charts (Munsell), which are available in both Japanese and American versions. The Colour Identification Book is the ideal tool for determining soil composition. Offered by Royal Eijkelkamp in two booklet versions, it provides consistent and reliable reference charts.
