Soil sample rings are stainless steel rings made of seamless tube, which is smooth on both the inside and outside. The bottom of the ring has a cutting edge with an angle of 15°. The sample rings are manufactured to tight tolerances with respect to dimensions, volume and weight. This makes them highly suitable for collecting samples for laboratory studies.

During sampling, a soil sample ring is forced into the soil, causing it to fill entirely with undisturbed soil
